After several years as a management consultant Kristen decided to deepen her understanding of yoga, to help balance her mental health, and enrolled in a 200 hour yoga certification training. It was during her certification training that she found her passion for teaching yoga.
Kristen’s goal is to make sure all fitness levels, abilities, and people feel welcomed, challenged and supported during class. Her classes do not aim for achieving perfect poses, but rather students are invited to find a space for self acceptance and growth.
Originally from Clifton Park, Kristen recently moved back to the upstate New York area after living in Denver for seven years. She is excited to return to her home area and continue her yoga practice with the Beatz Barre community.
